Art Nouveau served as the creative thread running through the project and is echoed throughout the floors, walls, and the large glass skylight that crowns the hotel’s grand hall. The fluid, ornamental lines evoke the elegance of early 20th-century decorative arts, establishing a dialogue with the historic character of the building. The mosaics interpret this visual language with poise and balance, offering a rich aesthetic experience that captures the spirit of the place and its timeless charm.

Only the highest-quality materials were selected for this project. Fine marbles such as Carrara, Bardiglietto, Bardiglio, Thassos, and Nero Marquina were paired with handcrafted Venetian enamel tiles and 24k gold leaf accents. This palette balanced sobriety with radiance, substance with luminosity, creating surfaces that shimmer with reflections and subtle chromatic contrasts. A noble selection of materials, chosen to give lasting value to the space.
The project was developed through a meticulous and multi-phase process: from design and tile production to final installation on site. Every mosaic was entirely handmade in the Friul Mosaic workshops, where artisan expertise and attention to detail shaped each step of the process. The result is a work that reflects the excellence of Italian craftsmanship and brings the beauty of tradition to the heart of Monegasque hospitality.
